Accounting Specialist

Hillcroft Services, Inc. is seeking a dynamic individual to join our accounting department. This will require a working knowledge of accounting functions, accuracy, critical thinking, and attention to detail.

The Accounting Specialist will perform a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties requiring a working knowledge of accounting functions, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Responsible for several systematic sets of transactions in specialized accounting software.
• Will maintain a variety of records such as wages, deductions, garnishments, taxes, withholdings, benefit leave, payroll, and ledgers.
• Bi-weekly completion of client, staff and substitute payroll and prepares for distribution of checks.
• Maintain billing systems for a subset of agency vendors which consists of compiling, verifying, and preparing the assigned funding source’s individualized billing vouchers and invoices.
• Verify checking accounts to determine and ensure funds are available for payments.
• Compile, prepare and maintain payroll reports and statistics.
• Process state and local withholding payroll taxes for submission.
• Process the state UC-1 and federal 941 documents for filing.
• Process W2’s for filing and distribution.
• Prepare daily bank deposits

Associate degree in accounting required. 3-5 years of experience in computerized bookkeeping, including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and in-depth experience/knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred.

Direct Support Professional

Paid training is provided, no experience necessary. We provide support for individuals with intellectual disabilities in their homes as well as in a community and want your help enhancing their daily lives.

Material Handler 

The Material Handler is primarily responsible for the distribution of products, their components, and tools to production areas. In addition, he/she is responsible for transporting materials to and from Hillcroft Industries when necessary, maintaining equipment, assisting with inventory, and assisting with the organization of the production areas and the warehouse.

Retrieve and distribute products, their components, and necessary tools for production staff, clients, and subs to perform production to fulfill customer requirements.
Coordinate the purging of production lines to ensure quality transition between dissimilar products.
Ensure products are staged properly and in accordance with the Inventory & Production Tracking.
Safely operate the box truck during pickup and delivery of customer products.
Participate, when necessary, in the final check for quality, quantity, and completeness of all shipments of customer products.
Operate equipment in a safe manner that is involved in shipping, receiving, and transportation.
Assist, when necessary, with production work as time allows.
Maintain positive customer service while interacting with customers or potential customers.
Assist with quality initiatives and inventory activities, including quarantine activities.
Coordinate raw and finished goods movement with production and training needs.

Music Therapist

This is a very fun and rewarding position providing music therapy services to individuals with disabilities.

Responsible to provide music therapy to clients in a 1:1 or group setting. Must use music therapy process as described in the Board Certification Domains distributed by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT). Must also comply with the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA)

This position requires a Bachelor degree or higher in Music Therapy.  Must have MT-BC credentials or is eligible to sit for the Music Therapy Board Certification Exam.

Must be able to physically assist clients as needed, and free to travel from site to site as needed.

Shipping & Inventory Clerk

Summary:

Responsible to the Production Coordinator and assists in planning, coordinating, organizing, monitoring of shipping and receiving, quality initiatives, warehousing, inventory, and production activities.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Assist Production Coordinator in the planning, execution, and monitoring of safety, quality, productivity, and cost initiatives.
  2. Assist in maintaining inventory of parts and the FIFO system as required by customer.
  3. Assist with ensuring quality standards are met/maintained and are performed according to methods outlined by work instructions.
  4. Perform quality audits and other quality assurance responsibilities as assigned.
  5. Attend all agency meetings and in-services as well as meetings related to the position.
  6. Assist in the assessment for the need for building space, equipment, and supplies. Recommend to the Production Coordinator and the Vice President of Manufacturing all necessary actions to fulfill these needs.
  7. Maintain an inventory of all tools and notify Production Coordinator of the need to repair, replace and purchase tools.
  8. Mentor other staff on job responsibilities when appropriate.
  9. Willing to work weekends or overtime hours as needed.
  10. Willing to act as a backup truck driver.
  11. Collect and reconcile daily production and inventory counts for Hillcroft Industries production staff.
  12. Perform work instruction training with staff, clients, and production subs as necessary.
  13. Perform some clerical duties as support for the Production Coordinator when necessary.
  14. Create and edit bill-of-ladings for delivery of customer product and return material.

Qualifications:

  • Education, training & experience
  • High school diploma or its equivalent – preferred, not required.
  • 2 years full time experience in industry and/or workshops – preferred.

Previous experience in shipping/receiving work – prefer

Production Worker 

Although this position starts out as a sub position, you can quickly work your way into a full time position with full benefits.  We are working four (4) ten hour days at this time.  If you exceed production, you could make up to $11 per hour.  We have 1st and 2nd shifts available and can be flexible to meet your needs.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Sorting of materials by shapes, sizes, and quantities
  2. Collating of materials
  3. Packaging
  4. Parts Cleaning
  5. Light Assembly
  6. Participate in time studies.
  7. Maintain quality production standards.
  8. Move product by forklift/pallet jacks as needed.
  9. Quality sorting of potentially defective products

Recreational Therapist

Function: Provide direct recreational therapy services in a small group or individual setting to enhance client’s daily activities. Recreational therapy services will address the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of individuals.
Qualifications:

  • Responsible to provide Recreational therapy to clients in a 1:1 or group setting in accordance with the individual’s ISP.1. Provide direct recreational therapy services in a small group or individual setting to enhance client’s daily activities. Recreational therapy services will address the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of individuals.
    2. Use the recreational therapy process as described in the Certification Standards distributed by The National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) to provide adequate services.
    3. Comply with the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC), American Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA) Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice, Division of Disabilities and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) Waiver Manual, as well as the Hillcroft Employee Handbook.Education, Training and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Recreation Therapy—required
    • Must have CTRS credentials, having completed (or is eligible to sit for) the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) – required.
    • Must maintain CTRS certification in compliance with National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) – required.

Registered Behavior Technician – ABA Therapist

The ABA therapist is responsible for providing intensive behavioral intervention services to children with autism and other developmental disorders.  Each child has an individualized treatment plan and you will provide individual and group therapy sessions based on the goals established.  Documentation is completed via computer program. Must be physically able to manage children, including providing therapy while on the floor, running after children, actively playing with children and dealing with aggressive behaviors. Training will be provided in dealing with aggressive behaviors.

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma with ability to acquire RBT certification during 90 day trial period. BS preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working with children with autism or in the provision of ABA therapy preferred but not required

All positions require the ability to pass background checks, which includes BMV, County criminal history, Indiana limited State criminal history, CPS registry, National criminal history, CSOM screening and clearance from the State Nurse Aid Registry and the EPLS & OIG Medicaid Fraud registry.
