Title: Direct Support Professional/Residential (DSP)

Function: Provides care, supervision, skills training, direct support, instruction and assistance to persons living in Hillcroft Services residential programs.

Qualifications:

  • Previous paid or volunteer experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • Hold a valid Indiana driver’s license with an insurable driving record and proof of state required insurance on personal vehicle.
  • Have reliable transportation and be willing to travel as necessary to support clients in accessing the community.
  • Have a telephone in residence and/or be available by cell phone.

Title: DSP/Residential Site Manager

Function: Is responsible for facilitating all facets of training, documentation and coordination of service delivery in the supported living home. This position will focus on life, leisure and academic skills training as dictated by each resident’s ISP/PCP.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent – required
  • Previous experience with MR/ID population (may documented volunteer time)
  • Previous supervision experience preferred

Title: Custodian

Function: Perform custodial work in offices, warehouse setting.  Have ability to use ladders, dust and wash walls, clean interior restrooms, vacuum carpeted areas.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 year experience in direct custodial duties – preferred
  • Must be able to lift #50 pounds occasionally.

Title: Employment Consultant

Function: The Employment Consultant is responsible for providing job development training, on-site training, integration support, follow-along and advocacy services for individuals as well as assist in developing employment opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years full time experience in this industry, workshops or related business.
  • Must have ability to lift (25) pounds, occasionally
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general information

Title: ABA Therapist

Function: Provide direct individual and group therapy sessions based on goals established in the treatment plan. Bachelor’s Degree in special education, education, psychology, social work or related field – required

Qualifications:
HS Diploma with ability to acquire RBT certification during 90 day trial period. BS preferred but not required.
Previous experience working with children with autism or in the provision of ABA therapy preferred but not required

Title:  Music Therapist

This is a very fun and rewarding position providing music therapy services to individuals with disabilities.

Function:  Responsible to provide music therapy to clients in a 1:1 or group setting. Must use music therapy process as described in the Board Certification Domains distributed by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT). Must also comply with the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA)

Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor degree or higher in Music Therapy.  Must have MT-BC credentials or is eligible to sit for the Music Therapy Board Certification Exam.

Must be able to physically assist clients as needed, and free to travel from site to site as needed.

 

Title: Recreational Therapist

Function: Provide direct recreational therapy services in a small group or individual setting to enhance client’s daily activities. Recreational therapy services will address the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of individuals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Recreation Therapy – required
  • Must have RT-BC credentials, having completed (or is eligible to sit for) the Recreational Therapy Board Certification Examination – required.
  • Must maintain RT-BC certification in compliance with Certification Board for Recreational Therapists.

All positions require the ability to pass background checks, which includes BMV, County criminal history, Indiana limited State criminal history, CPS registry, National criminal history, pre-employment drug screening, CSOM screening and clearance from the State Nurse Aid Registry and the EPLS & OIG Medicaid Fraud registry.
