Staff Accountant

Hillcroft Services, Inc., a premier provider of services to individuals with developmental disabilities in Muncie, Indiana, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our agency as a Staff Accountant.

The Staff Accountant will team up with other members of the department to be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties including payroll, account payable and accounts receivable.  This will require a working knowledge of accounting functions, accuracy, critical thinking, and attention to detail.   This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3-5 years of experience in computerized bookkeeping; including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.

Title: Direct Support Professional/Home & Community (DSP) – Paid Training
Are you interested in working a 2nd or 3 shift? Are you available to work weekends?  Do you want to be a mentor in peoples lives?  You can help teach simple skills like cooking, cleaning as well as going out into the community.  You can go to parks, libraries, movies, out to eat, bowling and shopping.  You will  be challenged but this position can be very rewarding.

Although you should have good written and verbal skills, most documentation is computer based.  You may be required to physically assist clients in their environment or in going out in the community.  We will train you to drive vans.  This position does require a valid license and proof of auto insurance.

Title: Registered Behavior Technician – ABA Therapist
The ABA therapist is responsible for providing intensive behavioral intervention services to children with autism and other developmental disorders.  Each child has an individualized treatment plan and you will provide individual and group therapy sessions based on the goals established.  Documentation is completed via computer program. Must be physically able to manage children, including providing therapy while on the floor, running after children, actively playing with children and dealing with aggressive behaviors. Training will be provided in dealing with aggressive behaviors.

  • HS Diploma with ability to acquire RBT certification during 90 day trial period. BS preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working with children with autism or in the provision of ABA therapy preferred but not required

Title: Recreational Therapist
Function: Provide direct recreational therapy services in a small group or individual setting to enhance client’s daily activities. Recreational therapy services will address the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of individuals.

  • Responsible to provide Recreational therapy to clients in a 1:1 or group setting in accordance with the individual’s ISP.1. Provide direct recreational therapy services in a small group or individual setting to enhance client’s daily activities. Recreational therapy services will address the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of individuals.
    2. Use the recreational therapy process as described in the Certification Standards distributed by The National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) to provide adequate services.
    3. Comply with the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC), American Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA) Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice, Division of Disabilities and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) Waiver Manual, as well as the Hillcroft Employee Handbook.Education, Training and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Recreation Therapy—required
    • Must have CTRS credentials, having completed (or is eligible to sit for) the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) – required.
    • Must maintain CTRS certification in compliance with National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) – required.

Title: Tram Driver/Madison County  

Do you want to help others, we have a job for you! This position provides safe, reliable transportation services to individuals riding our transit system. This position provides “door to door” services.  The driver  must meet MCCOG, FTA and INDOT expectations in service delivery.  Must be able to operate wheelchair lifts as needed and ability to  lift 35 pounds as necessary. Must be 21 years old and have an acceptable driving record and attend all required driving training seminars annually.   HS diploma preferred, not required; and experience is helpful, training will be provided.

Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Summary:  The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for assisting the VP of Business Development in the implementation, oversight, and robust maintenance of the Quality Management    System that includes ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Coordinate quality training for all production staff, including the daily quality training series for production meeting

  1. Collaborate with Shipping & Inventory Clerks to ensure quality system procedures are performed strictly according to the QMS procedures by continually monitoring production and quality processes and activities.
  2. Ensure timely maintenance and preservation of all quality documentation, including work instructions, quality alerts, work instructions training records, quality manual, ISO documentation, and HIQSPs.
  3. Assist the VP of Business Development in the creation and validation of work instructions.
  4. Train relevant staff on work instructions and quality alerts prior to commencement of production to reduce risks of defects and ensure customer specifications and expectations are fully satisfied.
  5. Assist VP of Business Development in utilizing 5-Why, Ishakawa Fishbone analysis,PDCA modeling, and other necessary tool for implementing corrective action and process changes.
  6. Coordinate all gauging and calibration activities, including the maintenance of all such records.
  7. Participate in process audits, annual internal audits, and assist in 3rd party auditing process.
  8. Participate in semi-audits Management Review activities with an active leadership role when necessary

Title: Production Worker 

Although this position starts out as a sub position, you can quickly work your way into a full time position with full benefits.  We are working four (4) ten hour days at this time.  If you exceed production, you could make up to $11 per hour.  We have 1st and 2nd shifts available and can be flexible to meet your needs.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Sorting of materials by shapes, sizes, and quantities
  2. Collating of materials
  3. Packaging
  4. Parts Cleaning
  5. Light Assembly
  6. Participate in time studies.
  7. Maintain quality production standards.
  8. Move product by forklift/pallet jacks as needed.
  9. Quality sorting of potentially defective products

Title: Reliable Drivers for Muncie  

This position provides “door – to – door” passenger assistance to all riders.  Must be 21 years or older with a good driving record.  Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop as necessary to the environment and have the ability to lift 35 lbs occasionally.  Must have a valid drivers license and proof of insurance.

All positions require the ability to pass background checks, which includes BMV, County criminal history, Indiana limited State criminal history, CPS registry, National criminal history, pre-employment drug screening, CSOM screening and clearance from the State Nurse Aid Registry and the EPLS & OIG Medicaid Fraud registry.
