Supported Employment Services provide individuals with disabilities assistance in obtaining competitive employment with the support of an Employment Consultant. Employment Consultants may assist participants in searching for available positions, completing employment applications, rehearsing interview skills, and following up with potential employers.
Once employment is obtained, the Employment Consultant meets with the participant at least twice monthly, either at or away from the workplace, to provide any ongoing assistance that may be needed to maintain employment.
Supported Employment Services are funded through Vocational Rehabilitation. Vocational Rehabilitation may be contacted at your local office for eligibility information. New participants will be contacted by an Employment Consultant to begin services within three (3) days of receipt of referral and authorization from Vocational Rehabilitation.
Hillcroft’s Employment Consultants have completed Indiana’s Employment Specialist Training which provides knowledge of best practices in job and career development, employment support planning, worksite analysis, and ongoing participant support. Employment Consultants also maintain current CPR/First Aid certification.
Services are provided at an unlimited number of employment locations in Blackford, Delaware, and Henry counties.
