Reliable Transit Medicaid – Non-Emergency Medical Transportation

The goal of Reliable Transit is to provide safe and reliable transportation services to individuals utilizing Medicaid. Our door to door service enables Medicaid recipients to get to and from non-emergency medical appointments in a safe and timely manner.  Reliable Transit can travel within Delaware County and to longer distance destinations such as Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Richmond, and other locations in East Central Indiana.

Scheduling Trips
All Medicaid funded, Non-Emergency Medical Transportation rides should be scheduled through Southeastrans at (317) 613-0820 or WellTrans at (317) 785-5500 from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm.  Please have your Medicaid number available when requesting a trip.

Accommodations

  • Service animals and personal care attendants are permitted to accompany individuals with disabilities in vehicles and facilities.
  • Wheelchair accessible transportation is available. The rider must inform the scheduler of the need for wheelchair accessible transportation at the time of scheduling the ride.
  • Portable oxygen tanks are permitted on all vehicles. It will be the responsibility of the rider to ensure these are properly secured.
  • Riders 17 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
