Hillcroft Leads Collaboration on Financial Literacy and Job Seeking Training
Through funds generously granted from The Ball Brothers Foundation, Hillcroft’s Employment Services program will collaborate with several area nonprofit organizations to begin Technology, Financial Literacy and Employment Seeking Training.
Building on Hillcroft’s existing Careers in Business and Supported Employment services, support from the Ball Brothers Foundation will enable Hillcroft to provide support to individuals who are receiving support from other service providers. Partnerships includes:
- The Region 6 Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) Program— Hillcroft will provide Financial Literacy, Technology, and Employment Seeking training to student participating in the JAG program. JAG focuses on assisting students with completing high school and finding employment after graduation. Hillcroft’s support through Financial Literacy and Technology training will assist students in being better equipped for self-sufficiency after graduation.
- Center Township Trustee, A Better Way, and Muncie YWCA—The Center Township Trustee, A Better Way, and Muncie YWCA provide services to individuals who are in need of financial assistance, housing and services to build safer environments. Hillcroft’s partnership will provide participants with Financial Literacy, Technology and Job Seeking training to support greater self-sufficiency.
