Expereince Isanogel: Summer Employment
Overview
Each summer, Isanogel employs approximately 60 staff members in a variety of roles to support the Residential and Autism Day Camp programs. Isanogel staff members are given the opportunity to make an extraordinary difference in the lives of close to 250 children and adults with disabilities while developing their own skills and building friendships.
Isanogel camp staff are given hands on opportunities to work with a diverse group of campers and staff. Staff are engaged in opportunities to learn a vareity of skills relating to working within a team that provides campers with a high quality camp experience.
Goals of Programming at Isanogel:
- Physical and Emotional Safety for All Campers and Staff
- Inclusion of all Campers Regardless of Ability Level
- Teaching and Reinforcement of Transferable Skills
- Positive Social Interaction and Development
- Promotion of Positive Self-Image
