  • 2012 Ice Cream for Isanogel Card Sales

    Hillcroft Services is pleased to partner with 13 local ice cream businesses for the 2012 Ice Cream for Isanogel campaign. Ice Cream for Isanogel cards are $5 and provide by one get one free offers at Dairy Dream of Albany, Baskin Robbins of Muncie, Ivanhoe's in Upland, Ritter's Frozen Custard of Muncie, Dairy Queen of Muncie, Jerry's Dairy Freezer of Parker City, Tropical Shaved Ice of New Castle, Muncie Frozen Custard, Incredible Yogurt of Muncie, Grandma Betty's Ice Cream Shoppe of Muncie, Camack Station, The Island of Muncie, and Weenie World of New Castle.

    Ice Cream for Isanogel card proceeds are used to support Hillcroft's Art and Recreation programs.

  • 8th Annual Hilcroft Masters Golf Outing

    The 8th Annual Hillcroft Masters Golf Outing will be held on Friday, May 11th at The Player's Club in Yorktown.   • 2012 Disability Awareness Month Celebration

    Each March, Indiana celebrates Disability Awareness Month. Led by the Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities, the goal of Disability Awareness Month is to increase awareness and promote independence, integration and inclusion of all people with disabilities.

    Hillcroft Services partnered with Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler to lead Disability Awareness Month celebrations in Muncie through a Mayoral Proclamation and art reception. On March 2, Mayor Tyler welcomed the Muncie community to Mutual Bank as he proclaimed March as Disability Awareness Month. The reception also included the presentation and sale of artwork created by individuals with disabilities through Hillcroft Services’ art programs. Human Resources Staff

Becky Donovan, is the Vice President of Human Resources at Hillcroft Services.  Becky has been a part of the Hillcroft family for over 27 years.  Many of those years were also spent in a leadership role with Indiana Special Olympics for a six county area.  Becky feels this is where she developed such a passion to see our clients succeed and enjoy life.  She holds the SPHR Certificate (Senior Professional in Human Resources) as well as a CWCC (Certified Workers Compensation Counselor).  Becky is excited about recruiting and hiring staff who fit within our culture of excellence. Seeing a staff person grow personally and professionally while enriching our clients lives is what drives the Human Resources department.  Becky is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of all Human Resource functions, including oversight of staff training, staff orientation to the agency, workers compensation, benefits and compensation, FMLA, etc.  Becky also maintains knowledge of industry trends, federal and state legislation and insures agencies compliance.  To contact Becky directly you may reach her at (765) 284-4166 ext 208 or bdonovan@hillcroft.org.

 

Steve Donnellan, is the Professional Development Coordinator for the staff at Hillcroft Services.  Steve has a BA from the University of Northern Iowa. Before joining Hillcroft Steve spent over 22 years in Personnel and Operations with J C Penny company. He also has 10 years of Sales and Marketing experience. Steve is a certified facilitator for the Franklin Covey program “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”.

As the Professional Development Coordinator Steve’s responsibilities include determining, developing and apply curriculum in compliance with all regulatory standards. He also conducts the orientation for all new agency staff. Steve is passionate about helping make sure that our new employees feel welcome and comfortable from the start. Making sure they have an understanding of the agency and their reasonability in caring out our mission is critical to the support of our clients. Mark Yaudas, is the Residential Scheduling Coordinator at Hillcroft Services. He has twenty years experience in the social services industry providing services for elderly and disabled individuals. Mark was formerly the manager of a rural public transit system which served a seven county service area. Mark served on the INCOST (Indiana Council on Specialized Transportation) Board of Directors for the past eighteen (18) years, and has been a member of CTAA (Community Transportation Association of America) during his transit career. Mark continues to coordinated efforts with INDOT (Indiana Department of Transportation) to continually improve transit in Indiana, as well as writing Section 5310 grants to acquire replacement and expansion vehicles to provide quality transportation services throughout east-central Indiana.

Mark assisted in the development of the Residential Associate program at Hillcroft Services in his new position. The program is to insure an adequate associate staff is maintained to meet the open shift demands in our twenty-four (24) hour settings, and Respite/drop-in clients. The Residential Associates work in the program receiving the required training and experience, and after successfully completing the program become eligible to be considered for advancement into a regular full-time or part-time position as a DSP (Direct Support Professional) in our Supported Living program. Mark has a background in grant writing, and has been assigned to the Grant Committee. He is working to pursue grant opportunities to acquire capital items to better assist in delivering quality and efficient services to our clients, as well as to the success of the residential services we provide to insure continued growth for Hillcroft Services. Mark is passionate in being successful in developing and enhancing programs to exceed expectations in providing services to individuals with disabilities.
