  • 2012 Ice Cream for Isanogel Card Sales

    Hillcroft Services is pleased to partner with 13 local ice cream businesses for the 2012 Ice Cream for Isanogel campaign. Ice Cream for Isanogel cards are $5 and provide by one get one free offers at Dairy Dream of Albany, Baskin Robbins of Muncie, Ivanhoe's in Upland, Ritter's Frozen Custard of Muncie, Dairy Queen of Muncie, Jerry's Dairy Freezer of Parker City, Tropical Shaved Ice of New Castle, Muncie Frozen Custard, Incredible Yogurt of Muncie, Grandma Betty's Ice Cream Shoppe of Muncie, Camack Station, The Island of Muncie, and Weenie World of New Castle.

    Ice Cream for Isanogel card proceeds are used to support Hillcroft's Art and Recreation programs.

  • 8th Annual Hilcroft Masters Golf Outing

    The 8th Annual Hillcroft Masters Golf Outing will be held on Friday, May 11th at The Player's Club in Yorktown. The Hillcroft Masters is a great opportunity for local businesses and individuals to have fun and help make a difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities.   • 2012 Disability Awareness Month Celebration

    Each March, Indiana celebrates Disability Awareness Month. Led by the Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities, the goal of Disability Awareness Month is to increase awareness and promote independence, integration and inclusion of all people with disabilities.

    Hillcroft Services partnered with Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler to lead Disability Awareness Month celebrations in Muncie through a Mayoral Proclamation and art reception. On March 2, Mayor Tyler welcomed the Muncie community to Mutual Bank as he proclaimed March as Disability Awareness Month. The reception also included the presentation and sale of artwork created by individuals with disabilities through Hillcroft Services’ art programs. Residential Services
Title:  Residential Associate
Employment Type:  Non Exempt
Department:  Residential Services
Function:  The Residential Associate provides care, supervision, skills training, direct support, instruction and assistance to persons living in Hillcroft Services residential programs. 
Qualifications: 
• Must hold a high school diploma or GED
• Previous paid or volunteer experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
• Ability to pass background checks, which includes BMV, County criminal history, Indiana limited State criminal history, National criminal history, pre-employment drug screening, CSOM screening and clearance from the State Nurse Aid Registry and the OIG Medicaid Fraud registry
• Hold a valid Indiana driver's license with an insurable driving record and proof of state required insurance on personal vehicle
• Have reliable transportation and be willing to travel as necessary to support clients in accessing the community
• Have a telephone in residence and/or be available by cell phone

 Title:  Rest Park/Custodial Assistant
Employment Type:  Non Exempt
Department:  Cannon Industries 
Qualifications: 
• HS diploma or equivalent--preferred
• Adequate verbal and written communication skills.
• Have a telephone in residence and/or be available by cell phone
• Ability to independently get to work at a rural location reliably.
• Ability to pass background checks, which includes BMV, County & National criminal history, Indiana limited State criminal history, pre-employment drug screening, CSOM screening and clearance from the State Nurse Aid Registry and OIG Medicaid Fraud registry.
• Ability to normally lift 50 pounds with occasional lifting of heavier items and to stand for long periods of time. 
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, crawl, walk, reach, kneel when applicable to the environment.
• Must be able to operate an industrial size sweeper, mop floor areas, operate buffer and empty large trash containers.

 

Title: Sales Position
Employment Type: Exempt
Department:  Cannon Industries
Functions: Responsible to evaluate ongoing contracts as well as procure new contract work for sheltered workshops in a multi county area. Will develop new business prospects and make cold calls to meet business quotas and goals.
Qualifications:

  • BS in area of sales preferred
  • 3 to 5 yrs of sales/ marketing experience required
  • Require computer skills.

 

Title:  Temporary DSP/OBRA
Employment Type:  Temporary
Department:  OBRA
Function:  Provide services to people with intellectual disabilities who reside in nursing homes in the Delaware/Grant/Blackford area.
Qualifications:
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Prefer 1 year full-time employment or documented volunteer experience w/people with intellectual disabilities.
• Ability to work up to 40 hrs/wk.

 
Title:  BCBA
Employment Type:  Exempt
Department:  ABA
Function:  To provide clinical supervision and management of behavior intervention programs and treatment plans for children served the ABA Clinic.
Qualifications: 
• Master’s Degree in psychology, special education, ABA or related field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification.
• At least 2 years of experience with habilitation, ABA or other related therapies.
• Previous experience working with children with autism and/or developmentally disabled.
• Ability to pass background checks, which includes BMV, County criminal history, Indiana limited State criminal history, National criminal history, pre-employment drug screening and clearance from the State Nurse Aid Registry, OIG Medicaid Fraud registry and clearance through DPS registry.
