Hillcroft’s outgoing Advocacy Officers got to go to the Self Advocates of Indiana (SAI) conference at the Palms Banquet & Conference Center. The officers got to choose which breakout sessions they wanted to attend to learn more.
The first session, “Digging for Dreams,” which included a group discussion about how to achieve goals and attain our dreams.
The second session was “Issues That Matter to You.” In this session we discussed our 2017 legislative session and issues the ARC of Indiana will be pursuing.
All of the officers in attendance had a great time introducing themselves to others, meeting new people and learning new things in each session they attended.
